Friends Spring Book Sale2023-04-01T10:00:00The Friends of the Deer Park Public Library will hold a Spring Book Sale Thursday - Saturday, March 30 to April 1. Come shop a wide array of adult fiction and non-fiction books, paperbacks, magazines, as well as children and YA titles. Items will be restocked daily so check back in! The Spring Book Sale will feature a Buy a Bag - Stuff a Bag style sale. The Friends will have bags available for a suggested donation of $2 (small bag) or $5 (large bag). Membership renewal and update opportunities will be available. This book sale will be cash only with no change being made. The Friends of the Library support programs for children, teens, and adults, as well as provide prizes for the Summer Reading Programs. Following the 2012 expansion, the Friends purchased and dedicated "The Reading Tree" for children of all ages to enjoy. In 2015, the Friends installed a built-in display case to commemorate the Library's 50th anniversary.

All 12 to 18 year olds currently enrolled in school are invited to hang out and play Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition, One Night Werewolf and more! Participants have the option to bring their own age appropriate games to share. Games can not have higher than a T for teen rating. Call us at 281-478-7208 ahead of time to approve the title. The meeting room will be open from 4 PM- 6 PM for any students interested in joining in on the fun!
