City of Deer Park - Events Calendar

  1. Nature Preserve Ribbon Cutting

    October 15, 2019, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Deer Park Nature Preserve

    We have rescheduled! Join us Tuesday, October 15 at 5pm at the new Nature Preserve as we officially cut the ribbon! We will be hosting a bat rehabilitation demonstration and our first responders will take the first jog around the Dr. Billy J. Sealey Loop Trail. Come out and be a part of this historical event! Parking for the Nature Preserve Dedication will not be a problem. We will be offering shuttles for all in attendance. Just park at the Deer Park Soccer Complex between 4:30 - 5pm and we will shuttle you over! Please note that there will be no parking at the Nature Preserve facility.

  3. 48th Annual Halloween Carnival

    October 26, 2019, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Jimmy Burke Activity Center

    Free parking and free admission to this special event for the whole family. Put on your craziest and family-friendly costume and let the spirit move you to enter the costume contest, hop on some carnival rides or go through a mini maze or watch a free screening of the movie Ghostbusters. There will be activities for the little ones including fun games in Pumpkin Town. You can stroll down the friendly community streets of Pumpkin Town from 2 - 5 p.m. for plenty of great carnival games. Concessions will be available for purchase at the event.
