Flood ResourcesBeing that we live in southeast Texas, near the coast, we are very familiar with tropical weather and flood events.  It is important to have all the resources possible at your fingertips.  We have put together a list of links and resources for your convenience.  

Is your property at a higher risk of flooding, is it located within a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA)? The easiest way to find out if your property is located in with a 100-year or 500-year flood zone is to visit FEMA's National Flood Hazard Layer Viewer.  Simply type in your address to get the information you need.  

National Flood Insurance Program - Learn a great deal about floods, flood prevention and flood insurance.

American Red Cross Texas Gulf Coast Region - Provides service in the following main areas: disaster relief and preparedness education; assistance for military personnel, veterans and their families; health and safety courses; transportation of seniors and the chronically ill to critical medical appointments; and the distribution of life-saving blood products to 15 Houston area hospitals.
