Art Park Players

From The Deer Park Parks and Recreation "Art Park Players"

My Dear Art Park Player Patrons, Parents, Students, Volunteers and Theatre Family,

It is a very interesting time that we are faced with.  I want you to know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers and that we are here for you to assist in any way that you need.  We are still working even though all classes and performances have been suspended for the time being.  We are also following the City of Deer Park health guidelines set for us and it is important that we take care of our theatre family.

In an effort to provide some in-home entertainment, we will be posting free movie events, concerts, projects, games, classes and activities that you can take part in. All of these will be posted on our websites, and our FaceBook pages at DPTX Friends of the Art Park Players and Friends of the Art Park Players.  In addition, we will be updating you on the show and class schedules as soon as we have the information.

Thank you all for being a part of the Art Park Players Family. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at 281-478-7288 or email me at

I pray that God carries you during this time with peace, calmness and good health.  We are grateful for your presence at Art Park Players.

May God Bless You All!

Dearest Love,

Susan Mele

Dear Theatre Family and Friends,

Would you like to take a wonderful theatrical journey? Well, you can, without even leaving Deer Park. You will have the opportunity to see entertaining shows at the Art Park Players Theatre as we celebrate our 40th season.

Each season, you can experience high-quality adult stage productions four times a year in our beautiful 3.7 million-dollar facility at 1302 Center Street. These performances will be presented by a theatre family that is proud to call Art Park Players their home, and who take much pride in their contributions, whether it be on stage or behind the scenes.

This season promises to have something for everyone, including productions the entire family can enjoy.

As you know, we are blessed to sell out our shows. However, to ensure that you don’t miss a performance, we encourage you to become a season ticket holder or a patron. Our ticket prices are still the best deal around, and we are still the only year-around dinner theatre in Houston and surrounding areas.

Let me take this opportunity to thank all of you who have supported Art Park Players for the past 40 years. We would not be here without your patronage.

Dearest Love,

 Susan Mele
